I booked a table at BB's for our office Christmas outing a couple of years ago, on the recommendation of a work friend. It's located on Division Street, in the heart of the trendy part of Sheffield, but is very reasonably priced, probably for the students that visit the area.
It's a take your own wine Italian, but they are licensed as well. There was around 16 of us that went, and the only drawback we found was that the room they sat us in couldn't seat that many of us on one table, we were split onto two next to each other. That was the only downside though. The food was delicious, not expensive, only a small corkage charge for your own wine, very friendly staff and they provided crackers with it being Christmas. There was a really good atmosphere as well. It's not a huge restaurant, but there's a dining area downstairs and another small one upstairs, too.
To top it off, as organiser, they presented me with an italian cake for booking there! Of course, I had orders to take it into work the next day to share with everyone! I would definitely go back.
