BS Siete - Rumble on La Rambla

Advantages: Sights & sounds
Disadvantages: Petty crime

You've come to the wrong place for a punch-by-punch analysis of Ali vs. Foreman, but La Rambla is just as, if not more, entertaining! The central promenade of Barcelona, a mile in length, stretches from Plaça Catalunya to the port. The magnificent street is chiefly the domain of pedestrians, as the two lanes of crawling traffic and frustrated drivers amply show. A relaxed stroll down the tree-lined walkway is an essential part of any visit to the Catalan city. Locals enjoy regular evening constitutionals here on warm nights; during the tourist seasons, you'll be in the company of thousands of fellow visitors. La Rambla's central location means that accommodation in the area is incredibly convenient but not cheap. Hotels like the "Rivoli Ramblas" on La Rambla itself are naturally costlier (and noisier!) than those hidden away in ...

Praktik Rambla - New stylish hotel in the centre of Barcelona

Advantages: Fantastic design of the hotel, great location, great price, friendly staff, very clean hotel
Disadvantages: No minibar or tea/coffee making facilities, 'open-space' bathroom, TV loosing signal

Hotel Praktik Rambla - a very stylish hotel in the centre of Barcelona Please DO NOT CONFUSE with Hotel Praktik on Calle Diputacio (also in Barcelona centre) which is a combination of hostel/hotel with less comfort than this place (although both are located close to each other and belong to the same group of hotels/owner) Location The central location of the hotel is great for shopping trips, sightseeing, dining, nightlife and very close to transport links outside of the city. The hotel is located on Rambla de Catalunya, which is the famous promenade in Barcelona with souvenir shops, bars and restaurants, and leads to the port and the pier. It is also next to Pasage de Gracia (Paseig de Gracia in Catalan), which is famous for ?posh? shops located there and tourist attractions such as Casa Battlo and La Pedrera ...

Review of Hotel Praktik Rambla, Barcelona

My experience on the rambla in Barcelona

Advantages: There are many great restaurants, exciting place, great nightlife and friendly people
Disadvantages: It is quite crowded, some shops/restaurants may be expensive

I have been to Barcelona twice and i had unforgetable experiences both times. If you walk along the Rambla, you may be surprised at how exciting it actually is. In my opinion Barcelona is one of the most exciting cities in Europe. There are many great restaurants along the rambla, the locals are friendly and the level of service to expect in the restaurants along the rambla is quite high. I would walk along the rambla many more times. I would recommend you walk along the ramblas in Barcelona no matter what you want. If you want to be in a quiet restaurant, in a cheap restaurant or in a restaurant for a specia occasion, the ramblas will have something to offer. There are many dancers and markets on the ramblas and the shops are great. ...
