Bachus is my favourite bar in Birmingham. Not really one for a large night out but for somewhere for a quiet drink, a gossip with friends or just to chill out it is excellent. I'd lived in Birmingham for 2 years before I discovered Bachus, it's underneath the Burlington hotel on New Street, one of those places that unless you know it's there you don't really notice.
Bachus is always busy but never crowded, getting a seat is sometimes tricky. Having said that I've whiled away many a hungover Saturday chilling out in the big chairs in Bachus with a fruit juice or two!
Anyone looking for somewhere for a drink that's not too noisy or packed should definitely check out Bachus.
