Althogh the buses tend to be clean, some mess is not unheard of, and if you've got a big suitcase, better hope you can carry it yourself-an old lady who didn't speak much English was going from Bristol to Bristol airport once. SINCE I HAVE BEEN AT BRISTOL UNIVERSITY I HAVE USED THE FIRST LINE BUS SERVICE EVERY TWO WEEKS TO GET FROM YEOVIL TO BRISTOL AND I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT. IT IS AN EXTREMEMLY CHEAP WAY TO GET TO BRISTOL AND THERE ARE EVEN HALF PRICE FARES ON SUNDAYS. THE BUS SERVICE IS EXTREMEMLY REGULAR EVERY HOUR FROM YEOVIL AND IS ALWAYS ON TIME. Once booked, the tickets can be changed at any time for £1.50 by phone or in person - in fact, Ive found its often cheaper to book a return day and change it than it has been to buy an open return. As you have to confirm an open dated return beforehand to ensure that the coach will be there for you, its not even like its any extra hassel!
If you need a refund, it must be before the time of travel unless you have proof of inability to travel e.g. a medical certificate. They will also charge you £5 fee.
You are advised to be at the bus stop at least 10 minutes before the journey. It will say on your ticket what number bus you are looking out for and whether it is a national express coach or a badgerline or flightlink so you know exactly what to look for.
