I have lived in Newcastle all my life and everyone keeps saying that Newcastle is the clubbin capital of teh UK etc etc. Didnt believe htat - all teh clubs were the same. Then along comes the Baja Beach Club (pronounced Baha).
At first it was an "exclusive, place to be" nightclub, now everyone goes, and its that popular you WILL have to que for anywhere upto 30 mins just to get in - but once you are in, let the fun begin!
The best way to describe Baja would be "Cheesy". Its full of 80's music and you wont be surprised to hear "I Think Were Alone Now" by Tiffany, "Never Give You Up" by Rick AStley etc etc. Yeah, your chringin now, but when you are there there is nothin better. Baja is not for the uptight, stuck up clubbers, its for ppl who could not give a F*** and are simply out to enjoy themselves.
The staff are friendly, scantily clad in bikinis and beach wear (the norm nowadays). The door staff are even better. Nice friendly & helpful (until you cross them, even then they are diplomatic and will evict you in a calm manner - From what Ive seen - I aint been thrown out - lol).
They have a wide selection of drink, even Champagne at £25 per bottle (Guaranteed Chick Puller! - lol). They have a Food stall who do THE BEST burgers in a club in the NE so far!. Lots of toilets and an upstairs dancing area which overlooks "the Pen" which is really hectic, so if you dont like being crushed avoid it if you can. Its a big, spacious club with a few bars, but also a few "chiller girls" who have an "Ice Cream" tub with bottles of lager in if you can be arsed to que!
Open from 9 - 2pm its guaranteed to be a great night out. Anyone who comes to Newcastle clubbin, go here - you will NOT be dissapointed!

Hi.Sorry to be picky, but I live in Newcastle and although I know what Baja is like, others may not.You havent mentioned how much it costs to get in,if there is dress code or where about in Newcastle it is.Again I'm sorry to be picky.Take Care,Lianne.x

Holy sh*t - I went to Baja last week and you just reminded me I was dancing to Rick Astley!!!! Damn!!! Those girls at the Bacardi stalls are stuck up little bitches (bar a few)- forgive the pun. It took me 20 mins to get a decent drink from the main bar, after using an attractive lass to grab the attention of the bar staff who were ignoring me! Good op! Welcome to Ciao!

Last time i went there, they did not have the dance music that me and my mates like, so we did not go back. Music is general mainstream charts. good op non the less.
