Bakers Dolphin Tour Operator This is a company started in 1889 by, not surprisingly, a Mr Baker They are now based in Weston super Mare and the Company Bakers Dolphin Travel is part of the First Choice group. The company has been engaged in various forms of travel despite two World Wars. First and last time I'll use this London Flyer service. Was left standing in the rain for the return journey despite turning up 30 minutes early. The bus was waiting out of sight at a different stop to the one advertised and that I was told by staff would be the collection point. There is no information or staff available at the stops and very poor customer service. There is only one return coach so if you miss it your stuffed and that is the attitude of their staff. The emergency help line (offices close on Sat) cut me off with no advice other than to wait 24 hours for the next bus. Was told ... more

Well... I have been travelling with Bakers Dolphin for the past 4 years and I have not had the best of experiences with them. The worst problem with them is their promptness. They are late nearly everyday and none of us EVER get an apology from the driver. Around 90% of the time we get very old buses which are ex army buses apparently and are very uncomfortable. The only thing we usually hear from the driver(s) is how shocking they think the management is. Bit weird coming from an employee, right?
