The things I like most about is that fine dining and hotel is very cheap, for US100 you can get excellent room overlooking bandung on hilltop (e.g. at Jalan dago). If you like shopping clothes there are a lot of boutiques and outlets. Electronics ... ...with dutch influence through out the city which may interest architecture students. There are open air concerts during saturday evenings at Dago. For volcano visit, you can take a 30 minute drive to Tangkuban Perahu, to take a closer look. The people are very friendly, and the women are beautiful (majority of them). And the climate is nice due to its high altitude.

the city of bandung in Indonesia in know as "kota Kembang" or in english "flower city".
Bandung is the capital of west java province. you can travel to bandung from jakarta -indonesia capital- in just 3 hours by car.
