A rare bit of good press for Bangladesh and General guide
Advantages: beautiful scenery, hospitable people, delicious food, fun things to do in the capital Disadvantages: some areas can be dangerous.. monsoon weather won't be suitable for most blighty's
Wow the sheer amount of terrible and quite condescending if not downright insulting drivel that gets spouted about Bangladesh makes me wonder two things: Are they talking about the same country? 2) Can people who have not properly visited the country not comment. I am ethnically Bangladeshi - well my parents are from there and we have house in the capital, I am fortunate in the respect that I grew up with both cultures fully having spent several ... ...- the capital. I did however grow up by and large in london with all the luxuries of living in a 1st world country, private school, drama school etc.. so I have an insight into living in both countries and environments, First of all there is no denying it is a poor country, a heavily overpopulated society where literacy levels are barely scraping the 40% mark and there is much that needs to be done about that and indeed through business and commerce ...

The leargest sea beach
Advantages: To know a greatest place on earth Disadvantages: None
If i ask you what is leargest sea beach, can you answer me? If i ask you the name of it, can you tell me? Didn't think so, i knew you might say aaa.. ok i tell you all about it. It is one of the wonders of this universe, calls cox's bazar. 121km in length, 90 km straite, least-crowded totaly sandy,100% natural sea beach. Situated in chittagong city of bangladesh. Bangladesh is a ever green country in suoth asia, next to iIndia. The beach has natural ... ...visit
The best time to be there is at every sunrise and sunset when the sand changes colors. When the water changes it way. For relaxing and enjoy the scenery its always welcoming. Cox's bazar is becoming a well visited tourist spot for Bangladesh and during September/October the beach gets very crowded. Usually hotels are full that time. Specially the ones closest to the beach. Despite its increasing commercialisation, Coxs Bazar is a great place ...

New Dhaka Daze
Advantages: Convenient if you happen to work there. Disadvantages: Er, there's just not much there.
...there. I lived in New Dhaka for three years so I know a wee bit about what it's like. Although I didn't personally count the inhabitants of Dhaka, I believe there were about 8 million a couple of years ago. Your guess is as good as mine how many there are now.
Like many of the cities which were part of the old British India, (of which Dhaka was one until 1947) this huge sprawling city has its old and new districts. The old, typically, is a mass ... ...just tell you about New Dhaka for now.
The new area consists mainly of the diplomatic enclaves, aid projects and some newer markets. It's clearly divided into three distinct areas.
Baridhara is the modern diplomatic enclave, where most of the Embassies and High Commissions are situated, alongside grand bunglows, all enclosed behind high walls. Unless you work there or are a member of the British High Commission Club, there is nothing for you here.

The Lakes
Advantages: place for relaxation Disadvantages:
Chittagong Chittagong, the second largest city of Bangladesh and a busy seaport, is a good vacation spot. Its green hills, forests and sea-beaches attract holiday makers. Described by the famous Chinese traveller Hiuan Tsang (7th century AD) as "a sleeping beauty emerging from mist and water" and given the nickname of Porto Grande by the 16th century Portuguese seafarers, Chittagong remains true to both descriptions even today. Many of the heavy, ... ...of interest in and around Chittagong include shrines of a dozen Muslim saints including Hazrat Byazid Bostami, Shahi Jame Mosque, Chandpura Mosque, Sitakunda Hindu and Buddhist tem les, Ethnolo ical Museum,
Chitagong is also famous for Lakes and Tribes, Foyz Lake is one of the most beautiful Lake the chitgong has, and also its famous Rangamati Lake atract peoples from all over the world moving from one island to another by the hand cfafted boats ...

World famous Tea
Advantages: Chance of a life time you can get to see most beautiful tea gardens in the world Disadvantages: flights are often delays and finding a room in hotels
Sylhet provides sanctuary in winter to millions of migratory birds, mostly from Siberia.
