Bar Emporium, or Bar E as it's know is situated on Park Place, just of the main shopping street in Cardiff. It's a long, thin bar with a pleasent (in the summer at least) conservatory area at the back. It gets extremely busy in the evenings and can be difficult to get served. (But where isn't in Cardiff these days?). However, during lunch time it attracts the professional crowd from the large numbers of solicitors offices in the vicinity. The lunch menu is not bad, serving up the usual fare of chips, bagettes, chilli and burgers all for between £5 and £8. The beer is also the usual fare of Fosters, Kronenburg and Dylans bitter (which is very nice!). Prices are very much standard for this type of Cardiff bar. i.e. A bottle of Pills will cost around £2.50 - £3.00. Outragous I know, but if people pay it, why not. It's not in the best place regarding easy access to the main drinking area of Cardiff (St. Marys Street), but it's such a compact city, that it's not really an issue.

Sorry matey but the pub that you are describing is Actually Bar Essential on Park place and not Bar Emporium on St.Mary's street..
In your defence though that is a cracking and spot on review of Bar E (Bar Essential)..
Just copy and paste it into the correct heading I suppose.
