A couple of drinks and a few photos with men in superhero outfits later we preceded upstairs. Here there are two seating areas and the dance floor. The music playing here catered for everyone from cheesy pop to R'n'B and hip hop and gives a chance for everyone to strut their stuff on the dance floor and enjoy themselves.

I once went here on a friend’s hen night with a group of 16 people all with different taste in music. I am just trying to remember the details as I am writing this but it is proving difficult because I was too busy enjoying myself at the time lol.
There was no entrance fee because it is free before 10pm. the dress code was relaxed because people were wearing all sorts. After climbing a few steps you come into the main area with the bar and sitting areas. At this time, which I am guessing was around 9pm?? Hmm I’m really trying hard, anyway at this time the atmosphere was pretty relaxed with the noise at a tolerable level. ...night is student night at bar risa in birmingham- and its pretty good! its the only night i've been i'm afraid so i can't give a more all round opinion, but apparently its £7 on a saturday. mondays its £1 before ten and £4 after-but i never make it before ten- too much straightening and make up required! the music downstairs is more R n B, hip hop stuff while upstairs, my domain is the cheesy area
it makes a change also to meet some students from ... ...students from birmingham, aston and uce all over the place! drinks are cheap too- for current deals check out www.thenightbefore.com but my current favourites are double vodka and red bull for just £2 and sambuccaat £1! bargainous!!
oh and dress code i believe is relaxed but then not many people try to get anway with trainers in clubs anyway! ...
