This involves catching & logging the turtles, which although is not the nicest experience for the turtle, it is humane & over very quickly.

If you are lucky enough tyou can even get a turtle named after you too! they tag the turtles back flipper with a number & your name is written down next to it. My daughter has a turtle swimming around the Caribbean who is about the same age as her & with her name. Now that is turtley cool!
