A modern deluxe hotel, the Barberini maintains the high quality and elegance of a 19th-Century building. The restoration has culminated in the approach between the classical environment and the modern facilities, generating a relaxing and peaceful ambience. The elegance of its setting and the high quality of its services get married with an advanced technology that grants the best comfort. The hall of the Barberini Hotel Rome is furnished with classic style furnitures and refined with a particular care. The armonious accosting of precious marbles complete the elegance of its rooms. Superb view on the eternal city is a warm and exclusive meeting point. The warm and comfortable style of its setting together with a professional staff will give you a really pleasant stay. In the heart of Rome the Barberini Hotel offers its guest the very best hospitality.
Advantages: Nice rooms, good breakfast with excellent coffee Disadvantages: Located a bit out of town, no safe, next to the railway,shower curtain
...), Spagna (the Spanish Steps), Barberini (Trevi fountain) etc. A taxi back to the hotel at night was not that expensive either…I think we paid about 10-15 €.
Conclusion
We paid 125 € for the rooms and for a 1 star hotel the standard was very good. The service from the staff was also great. The "problem" with this hotel is the location related to the city and the minor drawbacks that I have mentioned already in this review. If you can't find a hotel in town this is absolutely a good alternative. Advantages: LOCATION Disadvantages: Bar shuts too early
...Hi and thankyou for your interest in my review. I have worked in the Travel industry for over 20 years now and thought It would be nice to share my experiences and thoughts. I do hope this review is helpful and would appreciate a rating at the end.
Well then lets get started.
*********COST**********
This is always my favourite place to start !!!! Well this hotel is in my opinion an average cost for a 3* hotel inRome at about £105 per room per night including breakfast. I know you can definately get cheaper priced hotels but I was happy with this cost for what you get (all will be revealed).
*************LOCATION************
I have to say that the Hotel Impero is in a super location, in a lovely leafy area. I would best descibe the location as right in the centre of the historical art city of Rome, overlooking the Roman Opera...

Advantages: Central, cheap, clean, Disadvantages: holiday was too short!!
...Recently, me and my girlfriend visited Rome. As we were only in Rome for 4 nights we wanted somewhere central so we could see all the sights and do all the touristy bits. We eventually decided on Valle hotel and we are glad we did.
::: Why the Valle Hotel? :::
There are a number of reasons why we chose Valle. The first was that it was central, about 5minutes walk from the main train station (Stazione Termini) from there you can catch a bus to anywhere in the city, or get the metro or a train to other local towns or further afield if you wish.
::: The Hotel:::
It is a relatively small hotel with only 40 rooms. There is a welcoming foyer, with a reception desk manned 24/7. There is also a little bar. The rooms are fairly modern, comfortable and very pleasant. All rooms are en-suite. The rooms were clean and inviting. All...
