Advantages: Lots to do, nice atmosphere Disadvantages: Hotels are rather expensive
...My husband & I visited Geneva last month & loved it. It's just such a big city with so much to do. We went to the Reformation museum & Red Cross museum, but there are also art museums, a watch museum and others. Cathedral is worth a visit- we went to a concert in it which was a great experience. Also visited some sights to do with Jean Calvin the Christian reformer - such as the Reformation Wall. Went on a cruise on Lake Geneva which was lovely. Make sure you take a swimming cossie too cos at "Geneve Plage" there are outdoor pools and a section of the lake that you can swim in if you want. The tram is a good way to get around the city. A little further out are the alps which you can visit by coach.
Hotels & restaurants can tend to be a bit pricey, but we stayed in "Hotel Central" which is reasonably priced and a nice hotel.

Advantages: Londoners perspective: beautiful, clean, orderly and different Disadvantages: Londoners perspective: Expensive (yes even for me!)and a little small and quiet
...at lunchtimes.
An obvious attraction is Lake Geneva. Dominating the Geneva harbour is the Jet d’Eau a 140m high water fountain that operates from March to October and is beautifully illuminated at night. During the summer months it is lovely to go and sunbathe by the lake (which is very clean). There is a lido but beware of European men in skimpy swimwear! For SFr12 you can also take a 1-hour boat tour of the lake that is a fantastic way to see Geneva and the surrounding area.
Geneva is also famous for its beautiful parks including the Jardin Anglais (English Garden) and the Botanical Gardens as well as several museums – including a clock and watch museum! If possible I would also recommend hiring a car and exploring a little more of Geneva and France. The drive along the north side of Lake Geneva boasts stunning scenery and the towns...

Advantages: The archaeological site is something very different Disadvantages: None

This Cathedral is located in the old town of Geneva. Churches have stood on this site since the 4th century AD. Construction of the Cathedral itself started in 1160 and took over 150 years to complete. It is well-known as one of the churches which supported the reformation during the 1500's and Calvin preached here for many years.
What does it look like from the outside?
From the outside, the church has a lovely entrance with marble pillars. Unlike many European Cathedrals, it does not have a Gothic facade. It has two tall steeples, one of which is open to the public.
What does it look like on the inside?
The lovely stained glass...

I have been a Muse fan since 2003 and the release of "Absolution". I have since seen them live 7 times, including the 16th June 2007 at Wembley Stadium.
So, as you would gather, I was looking forward to this DVD for a long long time. It was originally more
