Advantages: Grounds, staff, food, activities, massive bath!
Disadvantages: Errr none!

...in the day. The bubble bath, shower gel and soap was also refreshed every day! There is a bar on the beach, one in the pool (yes in the pool) and one at the front of the hotel. All the staff were very helpful and friendly, and whatever cocktail you can think of they would do their best to make it. My favourite was the strawberry daiquiri! One small problem was the language barrier, but your in another country so try and learn a few phrases and the staff really appreciate it. There is four a la carte restaurants and two normal restaurants, as well as a pool snack bar, a creperie and a pop corn machine at the front by the main bar. You will never go hungry in this place. ...In September 2004, my husband and I went on holiday to Barcelo Naiboa Caribe Beach Resort on the south coast of Dominican Republic. The complex wasn't cracking, but it's the company that can make a holiday fun! THE RESORT We arrived at the hotel in the dark, after a 5 hour bus journey. The travel company told us it would be 2 ½ hrs. So, by the time we arrived we were pretty fed up. My first impressions of the organisation of the hotel "was chaos". 8 couples got of the rickety bus, to check in and it took the receptionist a further hour to get us all checked in. they'd lost registration details, couldn't find some keys (great security) and someone's luggage had gone missing between the airport and the hotel! Advantages: Amazing holiday in the prettiest place in the world!!

...I recently went on my first ever two-week holiday and it was amazing – I had the best time ever. I thought I would tell you about it and use the chance to show off my pictures!! We booked a holiday at the Catalonia Bavaro Beach resort in the Dominican Republic, the booking was for 14 nights all inclusive at a 5 star hotel and cost a total of £2068.00 including taxes and insurance. Quite a steep price but the all inclusive deal covered all non motorised water sports, all drinks, all food and all entertainment – so worth in my books!
