village on the estuary of the River Odiel which flows into the Golfo de Cadiz. The city of Huelva is 8.5 kilometres away. Hotel Features. This four storey beachfront hotel complex is built around an outdoor swimming pool with a terrace and a poolside bar, and there is also a children's pool. Multilingual staff at the 24 hour front desk can provide currency exchange and tour assistance, and the air conditioned public areas have wireless Internet access. The Barceló Punta Umbria Restaurant serves regional specialities and international dishes in buffet style and features show cooking. The hotel offers a half board room rate which includes breakfast and dinner. The hotel has a business centre, and meeting and conference facilities. Sporting facilities at the hotel include billiards, rifle shooting, aerobics, windsurfing and archery. The hotel also has a gym, an indoor heated pool, a sauna, a spa tub, and massage and beauty treatments are available. Guestrooms. The 300 guestrooms have light contemporary decor, modern furnishings and balconies. All are equipped with satellite television, climate control, complimentary Internet connections, minibars, designer toiletries and hair dryers. Expert Tip. The Rein Victoria area in Huelva, eight kilometres from the hotel, is an incongruous neighbourhood of timber houses. They were built in 1916 in English Colonial style by the Rio Tint mining company for employees. Present day inhabitants have added some Spanish flair to the homes by painting them in bright pastel colours.

Advantages: 'Some' Staff Disadvantages: Do You Want The List?
. I would never stay in a room of that standard ever again in my life.
General Hotel Grounds - These were the positive things i found about this hotel. They are well kept and clean however on numerous times throughout the day there is a horrible smell floating around by the poolside. The pool is clean and big but very npisy throughout the day as the daytime entertainment is done by the pool. We found it better to go to the beach as it was quiet and also there was a slight breeze.
Entertainment - The worst we have ever seen! very poor!. The daytime entertainment was bad enough but the night time is something else. if you want to watch some one dancing every night doing the same dance just to a different song then this is the place for you, However not for us, we were bored very easy in the night time and often was in bed by 10.30 due ...
Advantages: Usually hot country, cheap to visit Disadvantages: Very poor standards nothing to do, poor food
In September 2004, my husband and I went on holiday to Barcelo Naiboa Caribe BeachResort on the south coast of Dominican Republic. The complex wasn't cracking, but it's the company that can make a holiday fun!
THE RESORT
We arrived at the hotel in the dark, after a 5 hour bus journey. The travel company told us it would be 2 ½ hrs. So, by the time we arrived we were pretty fed up. My first impressions of the organisation of the hotel "was chaos". 8 couples got of the rickety bus, to check in and it took the receptionist a further hour to get us all checked in. they'd lost registration details, couldn't find some keys (great security) and someone's luggage had gone missing between the airport and the hotel! Great start.
Next morning we got to look around. It's quite a basic hotel; but that didn't bother us. We both work in hotels ...
Advantages: timeless, peaceful, historic & beautiful Disadvantages: you really need a car to get the best out of the region
A timeless, peaceful wonderful countryside where rural life continues largely unchanged and where old fashioned values of friendship, family and mutual support still hold sway -this is the Umbria I know & love.
Deep in this heartland lies Lago Trasimeno the fourth largest lake in Italy. This beautiful lake, dotted with wonderful medieval towns and fishing villages has many faces -from the mirror stillness of deep blue to aquamarine waves rushing on to the shore. It is a shallow lake, very child friendly with man made beaches dotted around it, all with play areas, cafes and other facilities. In summer the local towns are lively but never overcrowded, with lakeside restaurants, music in the Piazzas and many events ,like the summer Jazz festival and the village Festas. I particularly love to visit Panicale or Castiglione del Lago ...
