Whilst in Barcelona earlier this year we were looking for somewhere to visit that hadn't been on my tourist's agenda on my previous visits. Having spent a morning at the aquarium in the port are we headed for the Zoo. Located in the middle of the City it is well signposted in every direction and features as one of the main stops on all of the sightseeing tour buses routes. There are a couple of car parks located near to all of the entrances and again this is all well signposted from the city's main access routes.
Over the last couple of years we've visited a few Zoos and Aquariums and it would be fair to say that Barcelona is one of the biggest Zoos. Like many Zoos these days they are signed up to the World Zoo conservation strategy and are committed to breeding programs for endangered species. Having opened for the first time in ...

The Location Of Europark Hotel
The Europark is a three star hotel in L'Eixample district on Arago. It is in a fantastic location very close to the Passeig de Gracia and a short walk to Las Ramblas and the Barri Gotic (about fifteen minutes walk). The metro and trains get you anywhere you want to go in Barcelona and its only a five minute walk to the nearest station. The metro and trains are reasonably priced.
Metro is 1 euro per ride.
Train from airport to bottom of Arago was 6.50 euros each way.

Advantages: Fab cinematography, great performances from Cruz, Bardam and Rebecca Hall Disadvantages: All a bit lewd and lurid
traumatic relationship.
The handsome cast playfully act against a sensuous Barcelona canvas, providing us with glimpses of Gaudi's crazy, colourful buildings, couples kissing and drinking in romantic cafes as they listen to waves of exotic Spanish guitar. Even if you are not keen on Allen's work you can't help but admire the beauty of Barcelona as we see it through the lense of Javier Aguirresarobe's camera.
Take away the frames of dazzling art and beauty and we see mundaneness. Marriage is depicted as boring, lacking in vigour and downright bland. This is where Allen introduces a theme that he has employed over and over again. We are introduced to Doug, the boring fiancee, who chats away about investments and house prices. He has no passion, no charisma. How can we possibly compare him with Juan Antonio - the greatest lover in the world? I ...
