Strawberries and Champagne for breakfast!

Advantages: Excellent breakfast, great location, excellent value for money
Disadvantages: none that we found

This hotel is a great find! The location is perfect, just a 2 minute walk to a metro station and 2 minutes to the Olympic harbour. We arrived at the hotel by taxi, but apart from that we walked or used the Metro the whole weekend. The area around the hotel was really quiet over the weekend, but felt very safe - my friend and I are both young females and never had any problems walking around the area on our own. Advantages: clean, modern, cheap, classy
Disadvantages: bit out of the way, surrounding areas could be dodgy

My stay at the vincci conal mar was bizarre, very impressed with the appearance of the hotel, practically brand new, completely round, and very impressive on the eye. after leaving the airport,it was a 20 minute ride in a taxi, approx 25 euro, the area surrounding the hotel is quite residential/ rundown industrial estate which was off putting to start with and not the kind of place i wanted to walk through late at night, the area is called diagonal ...

Location, location, location

Advantages: Location, value for money, free internet laptop usage
Disadvantages: Not many hangers

Spent three nights here with five girlfriends for a 'big' birthday and could not have been happier with the location, rooms, reception, cleanliness and atmosphere. The hotel is in an old building and has an impressive huge carved wooden door but inside all is modern and minimalist. The garden area behind reception is pretty but there are lots of steps to reach all the levels. We didn't try the bar as there are loads of bars and cafes nearby. Helpful ...

Right in the heart of Barcelona

Advantages: great location, swimming pool, friendly staff, clean, tidy and attractive
Disadvantages: no kettle! pool closed not in summer, expensive resturant

LOCATION Sunotel Central is situated in Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes which is one of Barcelona's major avenues. It is a great location which is right in the heart of Barcelona and a 5 minute walk to Las Ramblas, which is the main strip in Barcelona. It is also a 15-20 minute walk to Port Vale beach and harbour, and a 2 minute walk ...
