Strawberries and Champagne for breakfast!

Advantages: Excellent breakfast, great location, excellent value for money
Disadvantages: none that we found

This hotel is a great find! The location is perfect, just a 2 minute walk to a metro station and 2 minutes to the Olympic harbour. We arrived at the hotel by taxi, but apart from that we walked or used the Metro the whole weekend. The area around the hotel was really quiet over the weekend, but felt very safe - my friend and I are both young females and never had any problems walking around the area on our own. You can't beat strawberries and champagne for breakfast!! I think we paid about £80-90 each for the 2 nights which included breakfast - worth the money itself without the room!! A great 7 nights

Advantages: Great Location, Super Friendly Staff, Really Clean, Value for Money
Disadvantages: None really!

The Princesa Sofia

Advantages: Very close to the metro station
Disadvantages: the bar is expensive

Advantages: Easy access to Montjuic, La Rambla and the metro system
Disadvantages: Some rooms face onto the main Avenue Paral-lel

I booked this hotel through AirMiles and paid for a suite upgrade locally. This hotel has a poor write up elsewhere we were prepared to change hotels but my our experience was much better than anticipated. All staff were polite, helpful and spoke good English. Location, location, location

Advantages: Location, value for money, free internet laptop usage
Disadvantages: Not many hangers

Spent three nights here with five girlfriends for a 'big' birthday and could not have been happier with the location, rooms, reception, cleanliness and atmosphere. The hotel is in an old building and has an impressive huge carved wooden door but inside all is modern and minimalist. The garden area behind reception is pretty but there are lots of steps to reach all the levels. We didn't try the bar as there are loads of bars and cafes nearby. Helpful ...
