You are a minutes if not less walk from the main plaza and leading of la rambla there are a multitude of beautifull cobble stone streets just waiting to be explored. The rooms, even the cheapest, are all emaculately clean and very tastefully decorated in a simple black or white, or some rooms are white and red i think, decor. Advantages: Great location, comfortable rooms

Hotel Balmes - great hotel in a great spot of Barcelona!

someone stole part of our money from the rooms. none could be but the owners because they only have the keys. the hostel doesn't have people who clean the rooms, you must do it by yurself. the owner only speak spanish and she is very unkind. there is no kitchen, no reception and no service in the hostel. don't trust the official web site: the towels are included but they don't give you if you don't ask and if you want to change after some days you ...
