Advantages: Value, Walking distance to city centre, nice clean rooms, friendly staff

The Hotel Nunez is a pleasant hotel located within walking distance of Las Ramblas and the main centre of Barcelona's legendary nightlife. The Hotel is also located approximately 2 minutes from the nearest underground station which allows easy access to some of the further a field sites such as the Camp Nou and the Gaudi Cathedral. Barcelona can be a real beach

Advantages: What a Hotel
Disadvantages: out of the centre

...and I arrived at this hotel (after a 25 Euro taxi ride from the Airport 20 mins at 6pm) to be greeted very warmly at reception and given our room keys. The Hotel is situated opposite the beach accross a bridge to get there , the beach itself is superb and clean with great facilities to rival any costa resort. There is a bus stop with a bus every 6 mins throughout the day into the centre of the city and very good value for money at 70p each way, ...
...wise you are in easy reach without all the noise of the centre. The Reception area is very bright and modern using amixture of Cream coloured walls with dark wood and metallics that blend together to give a warm , clean feeling. Advantages: Excellent price, comfort, location, service.
Disadvantages: No restaurant, not much of a problem though.
