Fantastic Hotel! Definately worth paying a visit Advantages: Friendly service, high levels of cleanliness, fantastic location, room amenities, good food etc etc! Disadvantages: Only thing i can think of was TV picture quality was not excellent on all channels Staying at this hotel is a pleasure, the service is friendly, prompt and very good. It is in a brilliant location, easy walking distance to the beach and port (around 10-15 minutes depending on your pace). The room was really nice, with large windows with a lovely view and a good bathroom (must say i enjoyed their shower very much!). It was very clean when we arrived and each day when we returned it was wonderfully clean. This is a hotel that takes ... ...your holiday or business trip just that bit better. The rooms all have tv (with many programs in a variety of languages including English), air con, phone, a socket for your pc -for internet access i presume (i did not use it!), a fridge which was well stocked and even guide books about the area in a drawer! Something i find important when i am away is how comfortable is the bed?! Europark Hotel, Barcelona Advantages: Great Location Disadvantages: None The Location Of Europark Hotel The Europark is a three star hotel in L'Eixample district on Arago. It is in a fantastic location very close to the Passeig de Gracia and a short walk to Las Ramblas and the Barri Gotic (about fifteen minutes walk). The metro and trains get you anywhere you want to go in Barcelona and its only a five minute walk to the nearest station. The metro and trains are reasonably priced. Metro is 1 euro per ride. Taber Hotel - 3 Star perfection Advantages: location, services Disadvantages: no real bar, one perticular member of staff! A booking through Air miles for my 21st birthday present from my sister consisted of 3 nights stay in the Taber hotel Barcelona. I was thrilled, Spain was a country I had always wanted to visit and my research through lonely planet and the internet showed the hotel to be very central and a lovely looking hotel. Great Location, Great Staff - Husa Meson Castilla Advantages: Great location, comfortable rooms Disadvantages: Not many facilities ...the hotel himself describes the Husa Meson Castilla as 'a simple two star hotel, but for those who are watching their budget, it is not only moderately priced, but also well located and offers an old-world ambience'. I would agree whole heartedly with this statement, but don't be put off by the lack of more stars. As you may know, stars are awarded for facilities in a hotel and not the standard of the rooms, etc. Whilst this hotel doesn't have masses ... ...prices. - -Location- - The location is perfect. Just down a well-lit and fairly buzzing side street off the Ramblas, it's a mere five minute walk to the centre of the action. The nearest underground train station is at the top of the Ramblas (probably an extra two minutes walk) and is called Catalunya. Hotel Balmes - great hotel in a great spot of Barcelona! Advantages: Great location to Metro stations Modern, clean and comfortable furnishings Good staff Disadvantages:* Pool is small Expensive food and drinks in the hotel ...we walked past!
