Barcelona can be a real beach Advantages: What a Hotel Disadvantages: out of the centre ...and I arrived at this hotel (after a 25 Euro taxi ride from the Airport 20 mins at 6pm) to be greeted very warmly at reception and given our room keys. The Hotel is situated opposite the beach accross a bridge to get there , the beach itself is superb and clean with great facilities to rival any costa resort. There is a bus stop with a bus every 6 mins throughout the day into the centre of the city and very good value for money at 70p each way, ... ...wise you are in easy reach without all the noise of the centre. The Reception area is very bright and modern using amixture of Cream coloured walls with dark wood and metallics that blend together to give a warm , clean feeling. Sant Angelo Advantages: great , City near Disadvantages: ---- ...The supply of hotel NH Sant Angelo seemed to fulfil all our needs and to anticipate it, we were not disappointed. It lies in de cent, in 74 about five to ten walking minutes from the Placa Espanya in the Consell. This is pleasant especially when one "arrives" of the airport by the bus of the urban transport services (No. 46) in the stop there in Barcelona! Past the building site of the " Arenas de Barcelona ", the former bullfight arena it is altered ... ...One books the Angelo NH Sant in the travel agency or even in the Internet. Under www.nh-hotels.de one needs to follow only the routine to be successful. The prices can be different according to season and circumstances. The hotel itself offers at the moment overnight stay without breakfast for the price from 61 euros on hotel-specific homepage. My result I recommend hotel Sant Angelo in Barcelona for a short trip in this town without restriction. ... Great Location, Great Staff - Husa Meson Castilla Advantages: Great location, comfortable rooms Disadvantages: Not many facilities ...the hotel himself describes the Husa Meson Castilla as 'a simple two star hotel, but for those who are watching their budget, it is not only moderately priced, but also well located and offers an old-world ambience'. I would agree whole heartedly with this statement, but don't be put off by the lack of more stars. As you may know, stars are awarded for facilities in a hotel and not the standard of the rooms, etc. Whilst this hotel doesn't have masses ... ...prices. - -Location- - The location is perfect. Just down a well-lit and fairly buzzing side street off the Ramblas, it's a mere five minute walk to the centre of the action. The nearest underground train station is at the top of the Ramblas (probably an extra two minutes walk) and is called Catalunya. Europark Hotel, Barcelona Advantages: Great Location Disadvantages: None The Location Of Europark Hotel The Europark is a three star hotel in L'Eixample district on Arago. It is in a fantastic location very close to the Passeig de Gracia and a short walk to Las Ramblas and the Barri Gotic (about fifteen minutes walk). The metro and trains get you anywhere you want to go in Barcelona and its only a five minute walk to the nearest station. The metro and trains are reasonably priced. Metro is 1 euro per ride. Hotel Balmes - great hotel in a great spot of Barcelona!
