Excellent Location & Outstanding Customer Service

Advantages: Minutes walk to La Rambla and Plaza Catalunya
Disadvantages: Bed Mattress that gave me back pain in the morning (however, it did not happen to my mom and aunty)

NH Calderon is situated in the heart of Barcelona, minutes walk from lively street La Rambla that leads towards the sea side, EasyJet Internet Cafe and Plaza Catalunya where you can get onto the City Tour Busses or go out to eat or shopping! Advantages: Easy access to Montjuic, La Rambla and the metro system
Disadvantages: Some rooms face onto the main Avenue Paral-lel

I booked this hotel through AirMiles and paid for a suite upgrade locally. This hotel has a poor write up elsewhere we were prepared to change hotels but my our experience was much better than anticipated. All staff were polite, helpful and spoke good English. The Princesa Sofia

Advantages: Very close to the metro station
Disadvantages: the bar is expensive

Magic Majestic?

Advantages: location
Disadvantages: could offer more for that money

...4 nights in the five-star hotel Majestic. We booked online about 2 weeks in advance and used their 3 nights for the price of 2 offer. We checked in without any problem and were shown to our room. The room itself was fine, not too small, not too stuffy. It wasn't overlooking anything spectacular, the window faced a car park, which, I suppose, was better than being woken up by the traffic of one of the most famous and busiest streets in Barcelona. ...
