I stayed in Barcelona for a two weeks languagecourse during september this year. I didn't have an idea which kind of city it would be; but already on the way to my youth hostel, which was situated directly at Las Ramblas, I knew that the time there will be just perfect - and I was right!!! Barcelona is just a great city - old buildings, nice, little streets, Las Ramblas, Sagrada Familia, the beach, many great bars and clubs - and last but not least sooo many great people!
Barcelona - definetly one of the best cities in the world!!!
