premier travel inn(charing cross glasgow)

Advantages: very central
Disadvantages: very busy at times

Living in England these past twenty years but coming from scotland i frequently have to travelto glasgow ad have had the pleasure of staying at this travel inn. The inn itself is sitiuated very central within the heart of glasgow and is easily reached coming from M8 southbound and M74 northbound. The inn itself is a comfertable place to relax have a nice meal and blow the cobwebs away from an exhausting day. The rooms are very comfertable and the cleanliness is of a high standard the inn caters for most peoples culinary requirements and the food is of a high standard. Iwould have no problem recommending people try it but it is only my opinion. postnote. glasgow is a vibrant throbbing community and staying at the inn gurentees you access to its lively shops boutiques and pubs. Oakleigh Guest House

Advantages: A warming, pleasant atmosphere with spotless rooms and good service
Disadvantages: Decor not particularly modern

I currently live in Stourport on Severn in the heart of Worcestershire and recently had some distant relatives come to visit for the weekend and we needed somewhere for them to stay as our house just wasn?t big enough to accommodate the whole family. In the end we decided to book a couple of rooms at the Oakleigh Guest House as I had heard good reviews on the place from friends. ~Location~ Oakleigh Guest House is situated right in the heart of Stourport on Severn town centre so is in a perfect location to access all the local amenities. However it is situated far enough away from the main High Street so that you don?t get the noise from the pubs on a Friday and Saturday Night. The guest house is situated on York Street in Stourport on Severn and is situated right next to the canal lock and overlooks the basin and river which ...

Café Hula - Great Homecooked Food in the Heart of Glasgow

Advantages: Great food, good value, handy for Theatre Royal, relaxed atmosphere, excellent service
Disadvantages: None really. But you might get undercharged!

spotted the odd thespian here too (including John Savident (Coronation "Ashley, I say, Ashley" Street) who was starring in HMS Pinafore). I am lead to believe that Café Hula is run by a husband and wife team, both of whom operate mainly back of house, although it has one of those fairly open dining/kitchen areas. It is a bustling and busy place but with a relaxing buzz; it has been busy on each occasion that we have eaten here (although that has been either Friday or Saturday early evening) and I would definitely recommend booking at the weekend to avoid disappointment. We have only ever eaten here pre-theatre and each time it has been a very positive and enjoyable experience. The staff are mainly young, and are enthusiastic, friendly and efficient. Some are from overseas, possibly students in Glasgow, and their ...
