One thing I will always maintain about World Wrestling Entertainment is that it's such an easy form of entertainment; so what if the matches are quite frankly rubbish? The humour is still there, even if you have to create it yourself whilst watching some of the drivel the company promotes.
The Great American Bash, as a pay per view, has a storied history; back when the WWE bought out rival company World Championship Wrestling during the early part of this century, WWE Chairman, Vince McMahon, also purchased the rights to all of WCW's names and likenesses. The problem is that fans are now offered the chance to buy 16 pay per views a year rather than the standard monthly spectacles and the Bash - as it's now commonly known as - started out as a National Wrestling ...

The Bulldog Bash 2007...
Last year granny agreed to have little man so we we were free to 'do' the Bulldog, was my first time there and I wasn't disappointed, it was fantastic and had a great time. We will definately be going again this year !!
The Bulldog Bash is a huge annual biker event in August, organised by the Hells Angels and takes place near Stratford on Avon at the "Shakespeare County Raceway" Long marston Airfield. Gates to the site opened up on a Thursday afternoon ready for a long weekend -4 days- of entertainment, we arrived early afternoon and joined what we thought was a long queue of bikes an trikes. Another half hour sitting around proved us wrong as looking behind us there were hundreds more people on bikes and trikes as far as the eye could see. Plus a separate queue for cars and other stuff with 4 wheels ...

was in the midst of the "Is he dead or is he alive" angle that had me thinking that Masked Kane would be returning. Instead, it led to a pointless feud with Rey Mysterio that eventually fizzled to nothing and had no impact whatsoever.
Overview
A decent event, but not a hugely memorable one. Of the eight matches on show, six of them were title bouts and two of those were not PPV-worthy (ECW and Divas Title matches). The non-title matches (JBL/Cena and HBK/Y2J) stole the show and are the reason to watch this event.
The opening match is fun, but the wrong team won, while the US Title match is pretty good too, but again, WWE didn't really do anything with the winners of both matches afterwards, rendering them meaningless in the grand scheme of things.
The Great American Bash wasn't a bad pay-per-view, it just wasn't a very good one ...
