I first tried baskin robbins ice cream at my local cineworld cinema. I had a hard time choosing what flavours to have, but i settled for one scoop of 'rocky road' and one scoop of 'chocolate chip cookie dough'. I can honestly say i think it was the best ice cream i have ever had!
The ice cream was first made in 1945, and since then there have been over 1,000 different flavours developed. Obviously not all of these flavours are on offer when you go to cineworld or millies cookies (two placed where it is commonly sold) but there is always a great variety and its guaranteed that there will be a flavour there for everyone. The chocolate flavours tend to be quite rich, fine for any chocoholic! The fruity flvaours are very refreshing, and always my choice on a hot day. Other than these, there are many to choose from that will suit all tastes, and all ages! This is definitely a benefit for those with small children, but may i recommend you buy them only one scoop as they will never manage two!
Of course, they dont only do ice cream! Their milkshakes are out of this world, and as you can choose any four scoops to go into the shakes, you can go every day for a year and never get the same milkshake twice!
The price is not low, but standard compared to another ice cream like carte'dor or haagen-dazs, and in my opinion more worth it as there is a greater variety, and a much better flavour. (Prices based around Cineworld cinemas: two scoops = £3.50)
The cleanliness of the places i have been to (several millies cookies and 2 cineworld cinemas) has always been good, and the staff are also friendly. Presume they are employed by the cinema and cookie stalls as opposed to the ice cream company, but it still helps when staff are happy and smiling!
Baskin Robbins ice cream is also avaliable to buy in tubs in 7 of their most popular flavours; Cookies & Cream, Pralines & Cream, Chocolate Mousse Royale, Mango Tango, Jamoca Almond Fudge, Strawberry cheesecake & Mint Chocolate Chip.
This ice cream is the best you will find, and so i recommend that for just this once, you ignore the price, and the calories, and order a double scoop of two flavours that look the best to you!

Advantages: yummy, always something new, lots of flavours, a light option,takeaway, Free taste Disadvantages: The calories!!! and a little bit expensive too
Advantages: Quality product, predictable, generally good service, many locations Disadvantages: A little pricy, predictable, good quality but nothing to make you say "WOW!"
