I enjoy museums and am quite happy to take a tour self-guided or otherwise. However, I was a little disappointed with the Bata Shoe Museum in Toronto. Being a self confessed shoe-a-holic, I was interested in learning a little more about the history of the everyday essential that is 'the shoe'. The museum was quite expensive to enter and only contained three displays. The first display was about the history of the shoe and showed its progression through the ages.
