Advantages: A lovely clean City Disadvantages: Where to leave luggage!
...time!
~~
I stayed in a beautiful hotel just outside Bath in Limply stoke, aptly named the Limply Stoke Hotel, i cant recommend this hotel enough, the rooms were delightful, the food hot and tasty, and the staff will do all they can for you.
~~
I wont go into all the details of the roman baths, as im sure you will know all about them or read up on them before you visit Bath, but i will say one thing, you need a strong nose and dont visit them after a good night out!
~~
If i had to say a few negative things about Bath they would be the fact that there is no left luggage in the train or coach station, which caused me alot of problems on arrival, there is a back packers hostel which is just along from the coach station which will look after left luggage, but they charge £2.50 per item.
~~
On the whole i would and will visit Bath over and over...

Advantages: Fantastic spa facilities, clean Disadvantages: Slightly out of town
...(Molten Brown). The Spa area was absolutely brilliant. It consisted of five different spa rooms. My favourite part was moving from the steamy aromatherapy room and then heading straight into the ice room to cool down. There was also an indoor and outdoor pool. After showering we headed back to the room to relax and drink our complimentary tea and coffee. They had also supplied us with free dressing gowns to relax in and free magazines to read.
Although this hotel seems quite pricey there are cheaper options if you do a bit of searching on the net and get a last minute deal. Needless to say as the breakfast was not included we headed out to a local cafe as the prices here were quite expensive.
I am definitely going to be heading back here. If there wasn't so many beautiful things to see in Bath, I could easily have spent the whole weekend in the hotel...

Advantages: Close to town and sports grounds Disadvantages: poor rooms , loud music
...We stayed at the hotel for a three night period and found the hotel to be adequate and value for money.
Location is good for walking into the town and the nearby sports stadium.
The staff were very pleasant and very helpful. We were running the Loch Ness Marathon and they kindly helped out with an early morning breakfast tray which had everything we needed. The cooked breakfast was very good indeed.
Our only gripe during our stay was with the loud amplified music played during the Saturday night. This went on until 0038. Whilst we have nothing against party venues the amplification of the music was just too high for the building. Some thought maybe for the guests staying in the hotel and booking future functions.
The room we stayed in may need some maintainance work. The hand basin was cracked, the bath didn't hold water due to leak...

If you’ve never been to Bath, in the South West of England, then you should most definitely go. And you should go tomorrow! This beautiful, ancient Roman city has been very sensitively planned and developed and even the more modern buildings seem to... more
