INTRO
Kiefer Sutherland returns as Jack Bauer in the second instalment of the award winning series by Joel Surnow and Robert Cochran. As you can expect it is every bit as eventful as the first and Jack Bauer (and us) are in for another very long day.
STORY
Without giving away the twists and turns that are what make 24 so special, the story goes a little something like this: Jack Bauer and his daughter Kim are struggling to come to terms with the tragic loss of Jack?s wife Kim, who was tragically killed at the end of season one. Meanwhile newly elected President David Palmer is informed of a threat to National Security. There is a nuclear device under terrorist control in the city of Los Angeles and it is going to go off sometime in the next 24 hours. It has to be stopped and there is only one man for the job. What we do know from the first episode (i will again not give too much away of the plot because as you progress throughout the day, the plot changes somewhat and usually ends up completely left field of the original episode!) is that Tony has become head of the counter terrorist unit (CTU), Jack is director of field operations and Kim Bauer has been given a job of one of the anaylsts within CTU so Jack can keep an eye on her. Tony learns of a terrorist threat involving a deadly virus which will be released in LA unless drug baron, Ramon Salazar, is released from prison. A body riddled with the virus is delivered to a local hospital showing that the virus works.

24 is one of the famous thriller TV series. American television channel FOX broadcasts it locally and also been syndicated worldwide. It mainly focuses on the 24 hour time of Jack Bauer's life. Jack Bauer is the agent of Los Angeles based CTU (Counter Terrorist Unit-fictional) fights against the terror attacks on America. Currently, it's airing the 7th season, in a sense 7th day of Jack Bauer's life fighting against crime and preventing the terror attacks.It's one of the longest running Espionage thriller series in TV history, only behind Mission: Impossible.
