Advantages: Great place. Disadvantages: Watch for how you part with your cash.
...I have stayed at this hotel now on two occasions and would go again any time.
Its a pretty basic hotel but comfortable and the staff are very friendly and take great pride in there work, especially it has to be said, the cleaning staff. Mind you, the pool cleaner does seem to take an age as well, wonder if he is on an hourly rate?
Definately would advise hiring a fridge for your room from the hotel.
My only bad thing to say about the hotel is the driveway. Not bad at first but it is quite a trek after a few days.
Access to the beach is straight off the hotel grounds. Not so many bumsters this year.( A quick guide to them after ).
I've always found the weather to be great in November/December. Hot during the day and comfortable at night.
As for Kololi. The restauarants basically are selling the same deal in food or drink...

Advantages: Beautiful clean beaches, clear water and nice weather. Disadvantages: Can be expensive and over run from people from cruise liners.
...I went to GrandCayman last October and found it to be everything I'd imagined it to be. The beaches have lovely light coloured soft sand, beautiful clear waters and the snorkelling is fantastic. So many brightly coloured fish to see and reefs to explore.
In October it is very hot there but there is the occasional downpour which tends to be very heavy. However, the rain does not last long and within half an hour everything is dry again.
We stayed at a hotel called the Spanish Bay Reef which was excellent and is situatied at the north end of the island. The food was really good and they also laid on barbecues in the evenings on the beach. I would recommend avoiding staying at any of the hotels along seven mile beach. These hotels also cater for passengers visiting from the huge cruise liners that moor just off the island about 3 times...

...I have lived in Newcastle all my life and everyone keeps saying that Newcastle is the clubbin capital of teh UK etc etc. Didnt believe htat - all teh clubs were the same.
Then along comes the Baja BeachClub (pronounced Baha).
At first it was an "exclusive, place to be" nightclub, now everyone goes, and its that popular you WILL have to que for anywhere upto 30 mins just to get in - but once you are in, let the fun begin!
The best way to describe Baja would be "Cheesy".
Its full of 80's music and you wont be surprised to hear "I Think Were Alone Now" by Tiffany, "Never Give You Up" by Rick AStley etc etc. Yeah, your chringin now, but when you are there there is nothin better.
Baja is not for the uptight, stuck up clubbers, its for ppl who could not give a F*** and are simply out to enjoy themselves.
The staff are friendly...
