We went to this hotel for a 2 week break in 2004. At the time my son was only 3 months old and my daughter was 6 years old. When we got there we felt like we had died and gone to heaven. The reception we got was out of this world and the hotel staff just couldn't do enough for us. The room was perfect, and we had interconnecting rooms, with the childrens bedroom having that extra special touch just for them. The pool area was exellent and the staff even lay out the towels for you instead of just giving you a pile and sending you on your way. They even come round on hot days and spray your face with evian water and clean your sunglasses for you. The swimming pool gently slopes so it's safe for the children, and the beach is perfect. There is no strong current in the ocean due to the coral reef, and the water sports are fantastic. The food is exceptional with special theme nights, and there is evening entertainment most nights. Also, the African bar is very cosy and comfortable with large leather chairs and sofas to sink into while you sip your drinks and maybe have a cigar from their selection. For those who have children they are well taken care of in the kids club which caters for children from 4 years. There is also the option of hiring a babysitter day and night if you wish to have some time to yourself. You will be allocated the same sitter each time so your child will become familiar with them, and they take care of babies too. All in all this was probably one of the best holidays we have ever been to and we would definitely go back again.
