A warm welcome awaits you at the Beaufort Hotel. The Beaufort Hotel, nestling in the heart of Southsea and only one minutes walk from the sea is a delightful place to stay. Enjoy a relaxed and friendly atmosphere where the quality of supervision is second to none. We take pride in being the best privately owned hotel in Portsmouth, which is backed by the AA Hotel Guide.

..., different types of bread, different types of cereal, bagels. Toasters are available. Obviously some juices, milk and hot beverages are included. There is also a selection of jams/jellies and honey. All this for a very fair price. We really enjoyed it. We also appreciated the confortable chairs and the privacy. It is a really pleasant and clean hotel restaurant.
The hotel is located in the centre of Portsmouth. It is at walking distance from the University facilities, a pub street, and a large shopping area. At a 15 mins walk you can enjoy Gunwharf Quays, where there are bars, restaurants, discos, and a lot of outlet shops. There is Spinaker Tower which is one of the landmarks of Portsmouth, and the view of the sea is really enjoyable.
The sea front is at about the same walking distance. There are also quite a few museums and exhibitions to...

Gunwarf quays also have a 14-screen cinema, a bowling alley, a comedy club, a contemporary art gallery, and a 120 bed hotel. So it is the in place to be day or night.

It has a glass external elevator it ferry people to the top, where there are three floors to take in the inspiring views of the Isle of Wight.
Currently under construction is a 26 storey Skyscraper under the title Eastside Plaza, built to resemble a funnel (know to locals as the lipstick). This makes a seafaring composition with the existing sail-like look of the spinnaker tower. There are numerous bars, cafes and restaurants located by the waterfront...

...We stayed at the Hilton Portsmouth just after christmas 2004 as the "Hilton hotel" were running a winter break promtion this semmed to be very good value at £99 for two adults for two nights with breakfast and dinner so it seemed to good to be true.
We chose Portsmouth as we liked the area and had been there before and as we were taking our two small children (two year old and 3 months old) we new there were lots of places to take the kids regardless of the weather places such as Pirate Petes and Wacky warehouse which are always a favourite with my lively two year old. There is also the Gunwarlf shopping centre which offers big discounts on designer names and plenty of nice places to eat .
When we arrived at the Hilton Portsmouth the recpetion staff were very friendly and we were offered a glass of wine while we checked it which...

Made the time this week to visit Gunwharf Quays for the first time this year and I have to say how much it had changed since my last visit in September. The whole place seems to have been considerably expanded and for my money is now a lot better and... more
