I love cars and my idol is Jodie Marsh. An absolute inspiration.

I stayed here in November 07 and after reading various reviews I was a bit unsure what to expect. However, when we arrived I was very pleasantly surprised.
First of all there was a big car park which is quite unusual for Blackpool as there's usually only room for 10 cars at the most. When we checked in we were given the room key but as well as the room key we also had our own personal front door key so that we didn't have to ring the bell and wait for an answer when coming home late at night.
We got into our room which was quite spacious. There was 2 of us, myself, and my sister so we'd booked a twin room for £60 for 1 night but the room actually had a double bed and a single bed in there. It was basic but clean and comfortable.
The location is perfect for a night out; it's only about a five minute walk to the nightlife although we got a taxi. Can't be walking for 5 minutes in heels. The taxi from the town to the hotel only cost £4 so I was more than happy with the location.
There is a swimming pool in the hotel but since we were only there for 1 night and didn't check in until early evening we never got a chance to look at the pool.
Most of the staff are really helpful and friendly especially the young guy on reception in the mornings. My sister had her laptop and needed to connect to the internet but we were unable to find the wireless network on her computer, the guy played around with the computer and couldn't find the network either so he let my sister go behind the desk and use his internet for a few minutes. We had a bit of a chat and I have to say he was lovely, really friendly which made our stay all the better.
The only real downside was the breakfast and the checkout times. Breakfast is served between 8:30 and 9:30am and then checkout is at 10. If you've been out the night before which we had, then 8:30 is rather early to get up for breakfast and then because it's only served for an hour there's not a lot of time to get yourself up, dressed and down for breakfast, hence we missed it. If you do manage to make breakfast then it only gives you half an hour to get yourself ready to checkout but other than that I couldn't fault the hotel. Would definitely stay there again.

Nice review, some of these smaller hotels are far better than the larger ones Larry

Good review....Perhaps you could have had breakfast sent up to save a bit of time. Thanks. J.

Good review. I hate the idea that they leave you such a small time slot to have breakfast and check out - surely they must realise that some people (mainly me) take about three hours to get ready in the morning! Em x
