I would say yabadabadont to this bar. To be perfectly honest the bar was good apart from the two entertainers and the price.
Okay let's start on reviewing it. The Bedrock Inn is in a god location of the square. It's very hard to miss! The design of the Inn is fantastic. The DJ box is an egg which looks pretty cool. The rest of the bar is made from rocks and even the stools are caveman style. It is a spacious place even when it is jam packed with people. There are three bars to get your drinks from so you aren't fighting over getting your round of drinks in. It is well planned and easy to get around.
Although the staff are busy they are efficient. Your drinks are done quickly and your glasses are taken away when you are finished. They are very energetic and smile alot. Obviously when you go out you expect the prices of your beloved booze to be higher than other places. Here it is. Although I didn't see the bill I was told it was higher than other places.
Onto the dreaded entertainers. The night we went into the bar there were 2 men up as a performance. I hated them. They tried to be funny but tried too hard. They shouted and talked over each other. You couldn't understand them properly and made your ears ache! There's the karaoke which you can get up and have a little sing. There's a device which lets you select the song you want to sing and places you into a queue (At least I think it places you in a queue) However it is a great way of setting up karaoke. The music is nice and loud like you expect for your night out. It's a shame that the bar across the road has theirs just as loud which means if you are sat at the edge you get blasted with two sets of songs at the same time.
The toilets are quite clean which you don't usually see from these types of bars. They are also pretty large as well, another thing you don't usually get.
Overall it's a bar which you defiantly need to be plastered before you go in because you have to listen to them 2 drone on. You seriously get tired of listening to them. The bar is great because it's easy to find and has some nice staff. We only stayed a while and decided to move on to get away from them. It's a nice bar for a quick drink with your buddies. Out of the rest of the pubs in the square I would rather go to the others. I think that's as much as I can say about the bar to be perfectly honest. Everyone likes different styles so I recommend if you are in the area for you to check out the bar and have a drink to see if you like it or not. However I feel that most people would like what's on offer at the bars within the immediate area. (Usually just your normal bar with music - so if you're not a loud music person you probably don't want to be in the Ayia Napa square, although some have outside seating areas which seem a little more tranquil and rather nice to have a quick beer)
After saying all that its not actually too bad and it is always full with people. When I say I wouldnt recommend this place I mean I wouldn't try and get people to go there I would probably just say check it out for the experience. Basically its just your average booming bar.
