Advantages: Great city Disadvantages: Has had a few problems
...Bradford over the recent couple of years has had its fair share of problems. The main problem they had was last year during the riots. The cause of the riots, according to police, was racially motivated. But if you ask the people of Bradford they would tell you something totally differant.
Bradford is bidding for Capital Of Culture and I feel that they will get the bid. Many great things have come from Bradford, the latest one been Garath Gates, the losing finalest from the TV show Pop Idol. Many people say Garath should have won, but he still has a recording contract all the same.
Bradford also has a sucessful rugby club, Bradford Bulls. A sucsessful football team Bradford City as well as a cricket ground that Yorjshire used to play on until a couple of years ago.

Advantages: Many useful items at very low prices Disadvantages: There are none!
...I was pleasantly surprised when I moved to Bradford. I am a shopoholic and need to be near some good shops. I haven't been able to stay away from the markets in Bradford. They are packed with excellent products at very low prices and there is so much choice!
I believe that the coucil has recently spent a great deal of money renovating the markets in Bradford to ensure that they are of the highest quality and it really shows. They also put on some brilliant events throughout the year, making Bradford a truely interesting place to live.
I'd recommend that everyone comes to Bradford to look round the shops because they are fantastic. There are also some nice places to eat, so you should make a day of it!...

Advantages: Good Curry! Disadvantages: Riots, Drugs, Gangs and Yobs.
...Brave indeed are the people of Bradford for they walk in streets everyday that are full of some of the most scariest characters imaginable.
If you thought that it was unsafe to walk at night in your own City then you should come to ours and experience first hand the muggings, riots and general 'yobbish' behaviour that the youth of our city exhibit quite willingly.
Notorious these days for its racial divides, Bradford is continually falling down the slippery slide of peoples estimations.
The only tourists who want to visit Bradford these days are those looking for either a cheap stolen car, illegal substances or for some lunatics the odd riot.
I felt sorry recently reading about the police force of Bradford for with the problems of this city they stand little chance and do the best job that they are able to....
