Culloden Hotel, Belfast - A Real Gem
Advantages: Superbly maintained oldy worldy feel Disadvantages: 5 miles outside Belfast
Where can I start about this hotel ? This is a 5* hotel that really lives up to its reputation as the most prestigious hotel in Northern Ireland. It is part of the Hastings Hotel Chain (excellents chain) and is set just outside the town of Holywood (not California, Ha, Ha) in the Holywood Hills. It is a beautifully presented hotel which has mantained the oldy worldy feel while providing the most up to date facilities. At the moment it is getting ... ...not deter from my enjoyment in the slightest. It has 12 acres of beautiful grounds surrounding it and is only about 5 miles by taxi to the centre of Belfast. It has a superbly exclusive heath spa and I tried several of their ESPA Therapies while my husband availed of the privileged tee-off times at Royal Belfast Golf Club ( SUPERB COURSE ). Also I must mention the food. It was second to none in the AA rosette winning Mitre Restaurant. We also dined ...

The Ramada Hotel Belfast
Advantages: The Parks Opposite Disadvantages: The Rooms And Food
The Ramada Hotel Belfast is an O.K hotel to stay in. I liked the hotel because a ten minute walk took me to lady Dickson park and the kids could play in the park for hours. Also it was O.K because a taxi journey of 15-20 minutes took me into Belfast city centre. The staff in the hotel were helpful at times but they didn't rush too much to help you. The hotel has WI-FI access and this came in handy a few times. The meals in this hotel are nice but ... ...date and modern but I found the double beds a bit small and they were not very big. The hotel was always very busy and I really liked the GYM in it because it had almost everything. The hotel itself is very clean and they also have a smoking room. I would recommend this hotel if somebody was only going over for a weekend or so but not much more. I think that the adjacent park and paths make it worth considering but I would also look around for better ...

RADISSON SAS HOTEL, BELFAST - Top Class
Advantages: Good central location Disadvantages: None that I could see
I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and really enjoyed myself. I thought the best way to tell you about it was to break it down. So here goes !!!
********COST************
A very important factor for us all. I paid £180 for the 2 nights and Buffet breakfast was included. It was on the Magic Weekend Package that I booked over the internet. Personnally I thought this was a very good price for 2 adults for 2 nights to stay in a top class hotel in the ... ...important thing is location and this hotel is ideally positioned. It was easily within walking distance of the main centre. The hotel is no more than 10 minutes from City Hall. One of the things I also like about this hotel is the fact that although it is central it is out of the way of Belfasts hustle and bustle. So I was able to have a good night's sleep and a good time out. ************ROOM****************
We stayed in a standard room, but it ...

Drunken debauchery with a birds eye view
Advantages: Good location, excellent service, air conditioning in rooms, fabulous views, mini-bar, high speed internet access Disadvantages: Few niggles with room, pricey, always full
...recall LostWitness telling me the Hilton was THE place to stay, and thus the hunt was on to find a deal. It did help that Hilton Honours members get 1,000 BMI Destination miles for each night of their stay, in addition to the accumulation of points for stays in Hilton outlets. BOOKING
This was through the Hilton website, www.hilton.com, returning a price of £208 for two nights bed and breakfast in a standard room. For a supposed 5 star hotel this ... ...for it, enrolling for the Hilton Honours scheme at the same time.
Confirmation onscreen and by e-mail were instantaneous, and cancellation rules were 48 hours ahead of arrival.
LOCATION
The Belfast Hilton is a 15 storey tower block (the top 3 floors being assigned to Executive guests). It is in a superb waterfront position, next to….the Waterfront hall, a destination for many big bands and plays. It is alongside the city's courtrooms; about 10 ...

Europa Hotel Belfast
Advantages: The Location Disadvantages: The Noise And Price
If you are going to Belfast then you got to check out this hotel. I loved this hotel. I thought that the hotel was very modern and up to date and also it was very clean. I thought that the hotel staff were very helpful and they were always willing to give a helping hand. The hotel is located in the very center of Belfast surrounded by clubs, pubs restaurants and there are lots of shops as well. Next door to the hotel is a bus station. I was visiting ... ...station I was able to book trips to visit what the north has to offer.
My only downsides about this hotel were that it was a little bit too noisy and the price of the food and drink was high.
So if your visiting then you will really enjoy yourself but remember to bring along some ear plugs and a massive wallet. ...
