RADISSON SAS HOTEL, BELFAST - Top Class
Advantages: Good central location Disadvantages: None that I could see
I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and really enjoyed myself. I thought the best way to tell you about it was to break it down. So here goes !!!
********COST************
A very important factor for us all. I paid £180 for the 2 nights and Buffet breakfast was included. It was on the Magic Weekend Package that I booked over the internet. Personnally I thought this was a very good price for 2 adults for 2 nights to stay in a top class hotel in the ... ...important thing is location and this hotel is ideally positioned. It was easily within walking distance of the main centre. The hotel is no more than 10 minutes from City Hall. One of the things I also like about this hotel is the fact that although it is central it is out of the way of Belfasts hustle and bustle. So I was able to have a good night's sleep and a good time out. ************ROOM****************
We stayed in a standard room, but it ...

Fitzwilliam is dead - long live the Park Plaza
Advantages: Its within the Airport Grounds - so great before an early flight. Disadvantages: Its 20 miles from Belfast itself.
The Fitzwilliam has been taken over now by the Park Plaza Hotel group, and if you want to book it, that's how you will have to do your search.
I have stayed there for conference purposes, and that's the experience on which I make my review..
1 Location.
************
For years, visitors to Belfast who arrived at the International Airport, had quite a drive to the nearest hotel.
Dunadry Inn was the closest, and the newer Templeton in Templepatrick ... ...added as well, so there is a bit more choice. ( It was the Stakis previously, so that's confusing too! )
But for travellers who are used to arriving at International Hotels and having somewhere really close to stay before an early morning flight, there was no option.
Now the Park Plaza fills that gap. 50 yards from the entrance to the terminal, it could not be more convenient.
It means you do not have the most wonderful views to look out on, but ...

Ramada Belfast
Advantages: - Disadvantages: -
I stayed in the Ramada Hotel in Belfast and I must say that the experiance had its flaws and its charms. I normally stay in the Hilton or the Europa in Belfast if I ever decide to stay but because of the busy Valintines Day period I was unable to book a room in either of these hotels so I then decided to book a room with the Ramada. The price of this hotel was reasonable, at £79 a night, I think that this is a great price for a hotel of this standard ... ...had a lovely stay in the Ramada and I think that it was just as good as the Hilton, apart from there being no sky channels available. I recommend it to anyone who needs a relaxing break at a great affordable price. ***Also posted on dooyoo under lorrainek858*** ...

The Holiday Inn
Advantages: Its Location Disadvantages: The Facilities
This Hotel Is O.K. I went to this hotel on a weekend trip. The hotel was nothing special. It was very clean and the Staff were very helpful. Though the food was basic and it wasn't really all that expensive.
The hotel is situated in the city center so if you don't like to eat the food in the hotel there are loads of hotels and restaurants around so you could take your pick. Also because it is in the center of the city is is only a short walk to ...
