I recently visited Bella Pasta with my friend and her parents when we went up to Birminghamto see Westlife. We were wondering around Birmngham city centre and we decided to grab something to eat. So we found Bella Pasta and went in.
When we entered the premises we were greeted by a member of staff who showed us to our table and she handed our menu's to us. The staff weren't pushy and gave us plenty of time to read the menu's and they let us make up our minds without having to be hurried.
The menu had a wide range of different italian dishes like pizza's, pasta in sauces, seafood etc. The prices were reasonable but I thought they were high but that's exceptable because Bella Pasta isn't a restaurant like Pizza Hut, it is a proper restaurant. The menu was very well set out and was clear to read, the only problem was that the names of the meals were in italian so it was difficult to pronounce what you were going to have.
We decided what we wanted and ordered the food. We also ordered drinks which came only about 3 or 4 minutes later and they filled the glasses to the top so you were getting your money's worth.
The meals were cooked to order so they food was fresh and hot when it came to us about 15 minutes later. The china-ware was gorgeous and they were proper italian bowls.
The amount that I got looked enough but I couldn't manage it all, it beat my friend and me, we were completely full so I was very impressed and happy with the meal.
We finished and asked for the bill. The staff bought us over some lemon sweets to refresh ourselves and they said goodbye to us.
The toilets were very clean and the whole restaurant was brilliant. If we had a Bella Pasta where I live, you wouldn't get me out of there but there is one in Bristol so I'll be heading up there soon.
Excellent!

Good op. I live only a couple of streets away from a Bella pasta - it's very popular with students here, since they have a deal (in St Andrews anyway), where students can get a free dessert with every main course. I love the cappucino mousses myself! Claire
