I visited Las Vegas for the first time in January this year. We stayed for 5 nights at the Bellagio as a friend was getting married in one of the hotel's 2 chapels during our stay.
Firstly, our room was lovely. It had a canopied bed with the most fantastic pillows I've ever slept on. There was a desk, 2 chairs, a large his and hers wardrobe unit which also housed the TV and a well stocked mini bar (very expensive!!). The bathroom was amazing with a very deep bath and a very large walk in shower cubical, all done in italian marble and very luxurious.
The hotel itself didn't really rely on a theme as most of the other hotels in Las Vegas, unless beauty and luxury were it's themes.
The lobby has the most amazing ceiling, made totally from multicoloured glass flowers. Worth a few photos most definitely.
It also has about 15 different restaurants/cafes which catered for most tastes from the simple snack bar which did hotdogs to the japenese restaurant for the adventurous and then to the Buffet restaurant which was incredible!! Apparently it's famous for being the best Buffet in the whole of Las Vegas. We went here for our breakfast every morning and gorged ourselves it has to be said on everything you could possibly think of. I especially liked their home made muesli, it was delicious.
There is a beautiful pool which is surrounded on all sides by the hotel, a beauty and health spa, a hairdressers/barbers, 2 wedding chapels, a business suite, conference centre, numerous bars, the casino itself which seems to go on for miles and their very own shopping mall which includes all the very big designers like Prada, Gucci, D&G,Fendi and Tiffany & Co. At present the hotel is home to the Cirque du Soleil show "O" which is apprently amazing. Unfortunately it was fully booked up for our entire stay unless my husband and I were willing to sit apart, so we gave it a miss. I would therefore recommend booking this before you arrive, so as not to be disappointed. The hotel goes on for miles in all directions and you literally could spend your whole time inside and not get bored.
The famous Bellagio fountains which are every half hour during the day and every quarter of an hour in the evening are breath taking. The water shoots so high into the sky and they manage to create the most amazing patterns.
The attention to detail in this hotel is what makes it. The staff are all so friendly, and the whole place is immaculately clean. Even down to the ashtrays in the casino where there's a sand bit for you to stub out your cigarette, they go round with this thing that stamps a large curly "B" for Bellagio into it.
If you are a gambler like we were, you have every card game under the sun to choose from, Roulette, Crapps/Krapps, Slot machines and loads of other machines to take your money!! The ceilings are high enough to not give the gambling floor a smoky atmosphere, which was nice.
All in all, the Hotel Bellagio is a hotel I would go back to, time and time again and I'd be very surprised to be disappointed. It was worth paying the little extra over the other hotels for the extra luxury, and I would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone.

Im expecting that you could probably compare it with other hotels available in the area. and you did not mention if this a package deal for 5 nights and how much it cost? is breakfast included or other extras? have you tried to dine inside? if yes then maybe the price of the meal...thanks. rey
