From the air looking onto mauritius, all i saw was green fields and land. I had looked at catalogues of the place and I expected it to be alot better than it was. I was told that there was lots of shopping centres and there was gorgeous food. It was fantastic in the hotel that i stayed in. It led straight onto the beach and the sea was very clear. I wen it July which is typically the best time for a holiday, however it turned out to be the winter time for mauritius, so avoid that time. The people are really friendly and will help with anything. Theres a sunday market where you can buy jeans for £5 and branded T-shirts for alot cheaper aswell. Not paradise, but a very nice place all in all. when I left for mauritius I had to stop in Dubai and then fly to Mauritius, the flight was very long and very uncomfortable. So you have to be prepared for a long journey.

I'd really love to be able to visit somewhere like Mauritius. Going to Dorset again this year - very nice there though.

Although you have got quite a bit in this, you have condensed it too much, if you padded it out a bit more to give more of an experience it would receive higher ratings.:o)
