The Hotel
The Bellevuehotel is a three star hotel and has 36 rooms, which are all nicely decorated in either burgundy or blue tones. It is a four storey building with lots of parisian style.
The hotel is a small independantly run hotel which is in a fantastic location 19 Rue d' orsel, 7518 Paris which is at the foot of the Sacre Coeur church in Montmartre.
I had pre-booked a taxi online when I booked this break. Taxi was from the Charles de Gaulle airport and when we arrived the BellevueHotel was lit up outside and looked very warm and welcoming.
The hotel has a small reception desk which is open twenty four hours and the reception staff are very friendly and helpful. At the side of the reception desk there is a large rack with lots of tourist information leaflets on where to go and places of interest ...
Advantages: Located close to train station Disadvantages: None that I could see

The location is brilliant and near to the train station. I have stayed in many hotels in my time as I work in the travel industry and would be very critical, but I have to admit that this hotel is very reasonably priced for its location. It is right next door to the hotel is the oldest pub in Amsterdam called the Café Karpershoek, this unique pub is part of the BellevueHotel.

Our room was of a very good standard and even came complete with flat screen tv and beautifully clean and crisp linen. The bathroom had an intergrated bath and shower. Our room also had cable TV, radio, telephone, data port, light blocking curtains and hair dryer (which was just ok ...

We stayed at the BellevueHotel during August 2007; the price was 387 euros for 3 nights. Overall we had a very pleasant stay at the Bellevue, and the central location is ideal for exploring Amsterdam - the hotel is situated just a few minutes from Centraal Station.
Room: The Bellevue is a very clean and bright hotel - our room was very modern and clean, with comfortable beds (2 twins pushed together for a double, might bother some), a flat screen TV on the wall and a funky bathroom. There is no separate shower cubicle, just a shower curtain and drain, so be careful on the floor! There is a lack of storage in the bathroom with just one small shelf, but for a short stay it shouldn't be a problem. There was also a safe deposit box, hairdryer, air con, and heating.
Size-wise, the rooms were adequate - not big, but enough room for 2 ...
