Advantages: fantastic area to visit Disadvantages: none
...At Easter we holidayed in Andalucia inland not on the coast. We had a hired car and did drive a bit and we also went for walks. Andalusia's mountainous and some of the area still had snow in Early April. Where ever we were it was not far away from a cork oak tree .A lot of Andalucia has man managed cork oak forests. These forests were quite dense not much light getting through the canopy. These woods not as dark as pine forest though
The cork forests we went into seemed to be well managed and some have Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certification, which recognizes that their forests are managed to the highest international social and environmental standards.

Advantages: Plenty to keep kids happy Disadvantages: some of the hotels behind were a bit of an eye-sore
...Belvedere Hotel- Salou (Costa Dorada).
We visited this hotel for one week last May 2005, we choose this Hotel and resort because of price(£650 for 2 adults and one child) and within 2 hours of the U.K.
*********************
It is only about half an hour away from the airport and the airport is very small so getting through it is usually pretty quick and easy, unless the baggage handlers are on a go-slow!
**********************
On arrival at the hotel check-in was very quick and went to our room in the lift.
**********************
The room was ample big enough for the three of us with 2 queen size beds and put you up bed for our son. In the room was satillite tv, air-conditioning and safe...

Advantages: A historical building Disadvantages: disappointing and spoilt by the owners
...CASTLE LODGE
It was a family day out in Ludlow and whilst I was sitting resting on the bench, waiting for my hubby to return from checking the car and the parking fees, I noticed this really old Tudor style house opposite and on closer inspection discovered that it was open to the public. We didn?t go in straight away, but I did drop a big hint like, ?I want to go in there before we go home? to the family, so that they would not be surprised after the visit to the castle that we went in here.
After we had a lovely lunch in the café situated next door to the lodge after a amazing trip around the castle. We were all in high spirits and enjoying our food and refreshments, I dropped the bombshell that I wanted to see the house, they did try to dissuade me as they were now getting slightly tired and wanted to do a little retail...
