Advantages: Beautiful Castle and Gardens Disadvantages: Steep climb to get to the castle, before you start to enjoy the sights

...on foot via Arundal Gate, Norfolk Street or Surrey Street. It is about a five minute walk from the main Interchange Bus Station and Railway Station.
If you are visiting by Car from outside the city then you should leave the M1 Motorway at junction 33 and take the A630/A57 Sheffield Parkway which is signposted Sheffield City Centre.
The Sheffield Parkway ends at a large Roundabout called Park Square Roundabout , from here take the fourth exit (Commercial Street) signposted Theatres/Galleries and continue on up the hill bearing left on to Arundel Gate.
There is a large NCP Car Park situated immediately on the left.
If you are arriving via Public Transport then the nearest bus stops are situated on Arundel Gate (approx 50m) and High Street (approx 300m). There are also two Supertram Stops close by, these are at Castle Square...
