**Accommodation**
The village basically runs on tourism so there is a choice of places to stay from backpackers and campsites to top-end hotels. The place gets busy during peak periods (June to September) so it is advisable to book. There are a number of cafes and restaurants to eat also catering for all budgets.
**Tips**
If possible, buy fuel, food etc. before you cross the Daintree river as it gets a lot more expensive once you are in Cape Tribulation because there is nowhere else you can buy it from so you have ot pay the extra!
