The village hotel & leisure club in Wirral.

Advantages: Clean and fresh
Disadvantages: Like a rabbit Warren

The village hotel & leisure club in Wirral Have recently joined here and at £32 per month, each, we feel we have a bargain. They even waved the joining fee, normally £70. We joined, my wife and I, on the ?Flexi? promotion. This is where you are only tied in for 3 months as opposed to the ?Full? 12 month tie in. Extras given include £15 to spend in their restaurants, 10% discounts in the bars and coffee shop and 2 free vouchers for friends/family. The vouchers entitle the user to a free week in the gym, pool etc worth £70. If you recommend someone and they join you also get £50 of a nights stay in the hotel. A fair few incentives but to be honest we just want to use the leisure facilities. My wife is recovering from Breast Cancer and she has some back problems resulting from the Radiography. She ...

BEST HOTEL LEISURE CLUB IN AREA

Advantages: Brilliant unbeatable leisure club, clean and at reasonable cost
Disadvantages: Hotel food average, Chistmas parties a disappointing rip off

I have been a member of the health club for 3 years now, and my review will be primarily about this. The hotel was built just over 3 years ago and is part of the De Vere Group. The leisure club is in the basement of the hotel...I say basement , it is actually on the ground floor, but the entrance to the hotel which you have to go through is on the level above, so you have to go up steps/ramp from the very large roomy carpark and them back down again. It did originally have a cafe copra, but this was shut and replaced by a second exercise studio, the ggod news is as of august 2008 they have opened a Starbucks which members get 20% discount at.The cost of membership is obviously different dependant on peak and off peak , there is not a family discount but you can attach children to membership for £10 a month, (7.50 at the Dudley branch ...

Fort William Rocks !!!

Advantages: Breath-taking views, extremely friendly people
Disadvantages: None that I found...

70mph and don't stop on the way. For anyone who cares we went via the M40, M6, A74, M74, M73, M8 and A82. My husband and I left on a Sunday morning at around 9 a.m. as we'd been to a friend's 30th birthday party the night before and our intended 7 a.m. start got a bit delayed? We stopped a couple of times along the way for a bite to eat and to stretch our legs. I took a few pictures en route to Scotland as I found the scenery breath-taking. As we were taking turns driving, obviously, I only took pictures when HE was driving LOL? Makes sense eh? We arrived at our B&B eventually at about 7pm, 11 hours after we'd left London. Fort William is a town at the foot of Ben Nevis by the shore of Loch Linnhe, which is a deep sea loch. With a population of around 12,000 people Fort William offers most necessary services for residents and visitors ...
