something for everyone
Advantages: something for everyone Disadvantages: some brits let us down
Benidorm is so popular with the brits that you can barely hear spanish being spokken! Benidorm has a long row of skyscrapers the tallest being the grand bali hotel which is the tallest in europe.
the tourist industry in benidorm continues year round, due to the warm climate and varied night-life which happens in over 200 bars and clubs. There is a large number of free (and brilliant) cabaret acts that start around 2100 hours and continue into the ... ...scott at the stardust.
Benidorm has 2 great blue flag beaches: Llevante and Poniente. the Llevante is the most popular and nearest to the 'square' (where the pubs and clubs are).
the old town is beautiful and has its own harbour where you can catch a glass bottom boat to peacock island (just a rock in the sea but worth going once!) ...

Going Benidorm - Not to be Missed
Advantages: great day out Disadvantages: -
...was a pleasure to visit Terra Mitica whilst I was there, on both occasions.
Terra Mitica is a theme park that is located just on the outskirts of Benidorm, you see it clearly as you are coming from the airport on the journey to Benidorm as it has the words Terra Mitica embedded into the rocks, kind of like Hollywood style and when that captures you attention you can see a huge wooden roller coaster. Nothing much else can be seen from the road and ... ...main resort of Benidorm.
Terra Mitica is one of them places that never gets over crammed and you can guarantee no long queues whilst waiting for the rides. It always seems rather empty on both occasions when I have visited there however they must be doing okay for it to keep going and the amount of tourists that visit there over the year must be quite a lot. I guess we always choose to go on the days when the coach trips aren't running which is ...

Last week in November. Freezing cold, raining almost 24/7 but that was god cos it kept at least some of the smell to a lower level.
The Magic Rock Gardens Hotel was the 'digs' we were dumped close to...the bus couldn't get up the narrow road hill up to the 'hostel'. The Thomsons "Rep" had jumped out of the bus at the last hotel we ... ...waiting to take us to the hotel as the bus couldn't get there and we would be dropped off at BurgerKing. We were duly dropped off in the street by the non-english speaking coach driver by the name of Jose. We stood there for 20-30 mins in the freezing winds coming off the sea...couldn't see the hotel [which was up a hill known locally as "Cardiac Hill" we found out later.] Eventually 1 taxi came and ferried us up the hill in groups of 4. It was about ...
