Nice - if you don't use the swimming pool!

Advantages: Spacious apartment, very clean
Disadvantages: Swimming pool was a health hazard!

We were travelling around the are, and liked the old part of Benidorm so much we decided to stay for a night. Being the height of the season, this hotel / apartment block was the only one we could get into, but was very reasonable (90 euros for 3 of us) for the night. It's not a hotel as such - more a small block of apartments, so although there is a swiiming pool, there are no other facilities as such. It's located bang in the middle of the town ...

total disgrace

Advantages: none
Disadvantages: extremely poor standards and uphill location

the MARC apartments are a disgrace and are not as advertised. the apartments are not secure it was apparant from the cracks, foot prints and busted lock the door had been kicked in several times.Upon entering the illequipped appartment you are greeted with a stale damp smell which is particularly poignant in the toilate area. The balcony/sun terrace was secured with a metal chain and padlock. The sliding doors will not open unless you are willing ...

decent hotel shame about the food :(

Advantages: overall great hotel
Disadvantages: food was nasty most thetime

this hotel is slap bang in middle of all the entertainment in benidorm so would be ideal for those seeking bar crawling really cheap. the beach is literally down the road from the hotel, id say about 200metres away. the beach is really and not so overcrowded as you would think it be in the summer. plenty of shops and mini markets about (also those taccy shops that sell crap but we love them dont we haha). the hotel is very clean and shiny. alot ...

Magic Monika, not so magic nowadays

Advantages: The card does let you into other hotels in Benidorm and make usu of their facilities,meals and dri
Disadvantages: Mainly Spanish guests

My family and myself have just returned from the Magic Monika Holidays hotel in Cala Finestrat. We have been there before about 8 years ago. This hotel still offers fairly good value for money, but the standards have declined. The swimming pool, although looks good, requires a revamp as there a lot of tiles missing. Flamingo Oasis a stressfree, calm and fun pack holiday.

Advantages: Close to shops, the sea front, great food and entertainment
Disadvantages: No tea making facilities in the guest rooms
