Flamingo Oasis a stressfree, calm and fun pack holiday. Advantages: Close to shops, the sea front, great food and entertainment Disadvantages: No tea making facilities in the guest rooms Stayed at the Flamingo Oasis Hotel between 5/8/08-20/8/08 When you pull up to the hotel in your coach the first thing your likely to see is the large flamingo that is painted on the side of the hotel, at night this flamingo lights up in pink colous. When you walk into the main reception area you can feel the coolness of the air con, the staff are kind and friendly. They book you into the hotel and you have your photo taken for the ID cards, there ... ...how high up in the hotel your room is, will depend how much of a view you have. We stayed on the 23rd floor and the view was magnificent, during the day you can see from miles around and at night time Benidorm lights up. The food is delicious and the hotel provides for all types of diets. During the week they will have themed nights in the resturant and have a person to greet the guests and play music. Great Hotel Advantages: Close to the old town but far enough away so you dont hear the noise Disadvantages: Hotel not for young people more for familys and older people This hotel is great for families that like a nice quite holiday i have been to this hotel 5 times it is over the road from a clean beach the water is great. The hotel entertainment is not so great but it is only a 15 minute walk into benidorm itself where you have as much entertainment as you want. The hotel has very freindly and helpful staff. The rooms are very clean. There is a small pool with a child section the hotel runs its own kids club and ... ...you can get as much as you like. We have already booked for next year this will be our 6th time so it much be great. Paradise on a stick ! Advantages: Approachable friendly staff clean comfortable living Disadvantages: a little bit out of the way RECENTLY REFURBISHED IN 2005 (I visited it in Feb. 2006) It has been totally refurbished both inside and outside and is well worth a visit An excellent friendly hotel that caters for all ages from, teenagers to the golden years. The hotel is located on a slight hill but is well equipped with wheelchair access whilst inside the complex. Nice - if you don't use the swimming pool! Advantages: Spacious apartment, very clean Disadvantages: Swimming pool was a health hazard! We were travelling around the are, and liked the old part of Benidorm so much we decided to stay for a night. Being the height of the season, this hotel / apartment block was the only one we could get into, but was very reasonable (90 euros for 3 of us) for the night. It's not a hotel as such - more a small block of apartments, so although there is a swiiming pool, there are no other facilities as such. It's located bang in the middle of the town ... ...a short walk to the beach. The apartmant was great - a bedroom with 2 double beds, a good sized bathroom, and a spacious living room / kitchen / dining room with sofa bed. This area opened onto a small balcony which overlooked the bustling old town centre, and was brilliant for people watching! total disgrace Advantages: none Disadvantages: extremely poor standards and uphill location the MARC apartments are a disgrace and are not as advertised. the apartments are not secure it was apparant from the cracks, foot prints and busted lock the door had been kicked in several times.Upon entering the illequipped appartment you are greeted with a stale damp smell which is particularly poignant in the toilate area. The balcony/sun terrace was secured with a metal chain and padlock.
