Magic Monika, not so magic nowadays Advantages: The card does let you into other hotels in Benidorm and make usu of their facilities,meals and dri Disadvantages: Mainly Spanish guests My family and myself have just returned from the Magic Monika Holidays hotel in Cala Finestrat. We have been there before about 8 years ago. This hotel still offers fairly good value for money, but the standards have declined. The swimming pool, although looks good, requires a revamp as there a lot of tiles missing. The food was basic, but generally of acceptable quality with a lot of choice. You would be dissapointed if you had paid for it in a ... ...you present at the restaurant and bars. You do feel like you are being treated as second class if you are British compared to the Spanish. The best hotel in the tourist trap of Benidorm Advantages: Good service,great location, fine food. Disadvantages: entertainment. ...of theme parks.Finding a good hotel however is another matter.Most of the Benidorm hotels are booked by the large travel companies and to be honest with a few exceptions remain cheap and cheerfull. The Don Pancho however is another matter. The WOW factor begins when you arrive as you walk thru the Mayan themed garden, with river and waterfall,to enter the hotel. Dynastic nothing drastic! Advantages: Fitness acilities,food choice Disadvantages: Aweful smokey bar ...the smoky bar.Hope this is a balanced reiew that helps people decide on their Benidorm choice. PS. Hotel Dynastic please note-invest in some plants and some decorators to brighten the place up. Also ditch those two vulgar old elephant statues outside the restaurant. decent hotel shame about the food :( Advantages: overall great hotel Disadvantages: food was nasty most thetime this hotel is slap bang in middle of all the entertainment in benidorm so would be ideal for those seeking bar crawling really cheap. the beach is literally down the road from the hotel, id say about 200metres away. the beach is really and not so overcrowded as you would think it be in the summer. plenty of shops and mini markets about (also those taccy shops that sell crap but we love them dont we haha). the hotel is very clean and shiny. alot ... ...wary because some are quite rude and think they own it. the rooms are decent sizes, no kettle or sink though because you get everything full board at this hotel. you get a small tv, twin or double bed, nice bathroom and a really good balcony. if you have the balcony facing the pool then you have the best view because they have nightly entertainment there so you can watch from your room, but if your on the other side then im sorry but all you see ... pipsy88 15.10.2009 · Read full review Ciao members have rated this review on average: helpful Review of Helios Hotel, Benidorm
Flamingo Oasis a stressfree, calm and fun pack holiday. Advantages: Close to shops, the sea front, great food and entertainment Disadvantages: No tea making facilities in the guest rooms Stayed at the Flamingo Oasis Hotel between 5/8/08-20/8/08 When you pull up to the hotel in your coach the first thing your likely to see is the large flamingo that is painted on the side of the hotel, at night this flamingo lights up in pink colous. When you walk into the main reception area you can feel the coolness of the air con, the staff are kind and friendly. They book you into the hotel and you have your photo taken for the ID cards, there ... ...how high up in the hotel your room is, will depend how much of a view you have. We stayed on the 23rd floor and the view was magnificent, during the day you can see from miles around and at night time Benidorm lights up. The food is delicious and the hotel provides for all types of diets. During the week they will have themed nights in the resturant and have a person to greet the guests and play music.
