Hotel Magic Rock Gardens RUBISH
Advantages: None Disadvantages: Poor service, crap food and ignorant staff
we arrrived at the hotel on Saturday 20th October 2007 at aprox. 11am.
First impressions of the hotel were good. We went to receptio to check in which was ok but were told that the rooms were not ready until 2pm, andwere told to make ourselves at home in the bar ect.
2pm came and went and the rooms wee still not ready. 3 different rooms we were given to which we could not gain entry as the rooms were taken. Eventually at 5:45pm were got our room.
... ...which is a entertainment venue within the hotel, were the bar staff were refusing to serve you because they had no glassess.(I forgot to mention that we were all inclusive). Well I dont want to go on much more but I WOULD NOT RECOMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYBODY. IT IS THE WORST HOTEL FOR SERVICE I HAVE EVER STOPPED IN. On a lighter note the entertainment staff were fantastic. ...

Not worth the money...or the hassle
Advantages: Good range of food Disadvantages: Overcrowded, queues for food, poor sized room...felt victimised.
My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel in March on a last minute deal costing us over £800 for half board basis. We are a young couple aged 18 and 19 and found the hotel to be very uninviting towards us. We know how to behave and are responsible young adults but the people at this hotel failed to give us a chance to prove this. Visiting in March, the main customers at this time are older, but we were just looking forward to being out of England ... ...found that the staff gave us one of the smallest rooms in the whole hotel - maybe because of our age - but when we were paying a large amount of money for a poor room, I was not impressed.
The only good thing about the hotel was the choice of food, being hungry young people we fully made use of the buffet style meal times. However, there were numerous occasions when were were queuing out into reception to even be able to enter the restaurant. We ...

Magic Monika, not so magic nowadays
Advantages: The card does let you into other hotels in Benidorm and make usu of their facilities, meals and dri Disadvantages: Mainly Spanish guests
My family and myself have just returned from the Magic Monika Holidays hotel in Cala Finestrat. We have been there before about 8 years ago. This hotel still offers fairly good value for money, but the standards have declined. The swimming pool, although looks good, requires a revamp as there a lot of tiles missing.
The food was basic, but generally of acceptable quality with a lot of choice. You would be dissapointed if you had paid for it in a ... ...you present at the restaurant and bars. You do feel like you are being treated as second class if you are British compared to the Spanish. They get issued with a all "inclusive gold card" which enables them to get premium branded drinks rather than the cheap tasting drinks you get with the basic card. . ...

The Gran Bali
Advantages: one of the best hotels for luxery Disadvantages: the entertainment
This is without a doubt, one of Benidorms, if not spains finest hotels. It has great pools, the food is lovely, it's situated not far from the old town of Benidorm but in a quiet area. The staff were very helpful and polite. Personally, I would recommend it just for the adults, as the entertainment and activities wasn't upto much, especially if you could only speak english. The particular week that i went, which was in june of this year (2005), mostly ... ...looking to make friends out there, I would have needed to learn spanish a lot better. The night time entertainment was a little dissapointing, as it was mostly the same every night. But the views the hotel had of its surrounding ares were spectacular. The rooms were more than nice, and nothing was too expensive. They have some nice british pubs a short walk away from the hotel, which offer great entertainment. And you are also a short 5 minute walk ...

Fiesta Park Fantastic
Advantages: Clean, friendly, tidy, fantastic food Disadvantages: all spanish
...holiday with my friend to Fiesta Park in Benidorm. We are 2 girls in our early twenties but not the stereotypical British girls on holiday - out for just drink and lads - prefer a bit sunbathing and a bit of a dance but mostly just chilling. For this reason Fiesta Park was brilliant. We paid about £500 each for one week in Easter (the Spanish Semana Santa) but this included flights and the accomodation was all inclusive. The hotel was one of the ... ...great, as was the food and the service. We arrived when dinner had finished but they still put fresh hot food out for us. All inclusive was from 10am to 11pm and included snacks and all drinks (including wine with the meal). Breakfast was also included as all inclusive and wasn't just continental although it was there if you fancied. Most all inclusives the food is not the best but there was always a variety including specialities such as fresh paella. ...
